Nature Inspired Embroidered Hoop Art by Rabbit Hat Designs

Beth of Rabbit Hat Designs is an illustrator and an embroidery artist from the UK, presently living in Denver, CO. She grew up in a rural surroundings rich in wildlife, and flora, and had a family with a conversationalist, a birder and a plant lover.

She creates one-of-kind embroidered hoop art depicting owls, snakes, insects, bugs, butterflies, wings, feathers, and cactus in monochromatic to bright colorful palette. Her embroidery size can range from small 2 inches pendant to large 23 inch hoop art.

She wants to connect humans more closely to nature through her art, recognizing what part we play in the fragile balance of all living things. Her work shows her love for nature and she creates the curiosity cabinet-like curations keeping in mind that the process does not harm either the beings or the environment.

She sources her fabric from small scale companies that are conscious and have eco-friendly practices. The hoops she uses are made of natural materials and opts for recycled packaging wherever possible. You can find her original embroidered art and diy kits in her online store.
