Hand-Torn Pieces of Paper Used to Make Amazing Artwork

Karla Schuster is a Georgia based collage artist who creates amazing artwork using found paper, hand-painted paper, colorful paper, and any paper with interesting pattern or texture. Each piece of paper is hand-torn and mixed with other tiny papers before being placed methodologically one by one to make an animal or a bird shape. Her work is vibrant and has lot of amazing details created with thin strips or bits of paper.

"Each bit of paper has its own personality and character. It’s a brush stroke waiting to be placed on the right piece of art. This inspires me to transform common bits and pieces of paper into unusual pieces of art that attract from a distance and surprise from up close."

"Autumn Gold" Ceramic Collection by Camila Prada

UK based ceramist Camila Prada has launched the new limited edition collection called “Autumn Gold”. The pieces from the collection are inspired by her desire to bring her idea of "modern luxury" to life. She used real gold that's grounded down to a fine dust and added to an emulsion before it's hand painted on to ceramic. Owls, monkey and bunny shaped mugs and storage boxes are hand numbered in gold on the backstamp. Her adorable critters have a fan following and they get sold out in no time. If you like something then get it now before it's gone forever!

You can view more of her work that I featured previously, here.
