Textile Dolls by Olga Sokol

Olga Sokol is an artist based in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She creates amazing animal dolls with so much personality and character under the name 'Spisomnoy'. To make dolls she mixes and matches solid colored and patterned fabrics plus wool. There are so many mind-boggling details in her work, for example the careful folds of the fabric to make them look like nose, eyes and head. Once the doll is ready she would dress them in the most adorable costumes and adds embroidery stitches to make buttons and pockets. Each doll is a labor of love and one-of-a kind.
