Ryan Todd

A set of four letterpress coasters designed by Ryan Todd for New Found Original. Each design in the set is letter-pressed by hand onto heavy stock in rich complementary colors. I love them for their unique illustrations. Did you notice something weird about these coasters? Look again, "the duck's beak appears to be tied on with string, the swift looks as if it's been shot down by enemy aircraft but is going doing in a blaze of glory; the owl is a lesser spotted three-eyed, double beak owl, and the parrot appears to be engaging in a spot of topsy turvy meditation". A gift for a bird-lover or someone who appreciates bold graphics.

Have a great weekend!

An adorable packaging concept for fruit juice aka "Birdy juice" by Mats Ottdal a norwegian Graphic Designer and Illustrator. He says: "Birdy Juice is a concept for fruit juice using the form of the juice carton to create wings and feet for bird characters."

After you've enjoyed the juice out of these cute boxes, don't recycle the box just yet. Unfold the top and bottom flaps on the box and give owls and penguins their feet and wings.
