Gelaskins: Catalina Estrada

I featured Catalina Estrada earlier here and recently found out that her designs are now available in form of iPhone and laptop skins.

Catalina was born and grew up in Colombia and currently working as a freelance graphic designer in Barcelona. I love her colorful and vibrant illustrations inspired by traditional folk-art and makes intensive use of tropical vegetation and animals. Her Little Red (shown above) and Gold Flower pieces are available at Gelaskins.

Altenkunstadt: Decanters

I love these porcelain decanters produced in 1960s by a German factory called Altenkunstadt. The Bird Cage featuring owls in the bird cage was found on this blog and figural bottles were spotted here. I am a sucker for bottles and I have a small collection of vintage bottles which is constantly growing (and going out of control) is displayed on top of my kitchen cabinets. What do you collect?

Vintage Unknown Finds

This etsy seller has these four owl images from 1972 for sale made by Morris Manufacturing Co. of Garland, Texas, a subsidiary of American Arts & Crafts Corp. The images feature four seasons and in each season the owl is busy doing the following tasks - raking leaves in the fall, making a snowman in winter, picking flowers in spring and fishing in the lily pads in summer!  The seller is not sure if these are transfers. Do you know what are these?
