I just recently discovered the tutorial on A Beautiful Mess for these cutest owls made using tissue paper and recycled material. The owls will look great on a book shelf, desk or any corner of your home where you need a splash of cute. They can also be added to a baby shower decor (or any party), try different colors to match with the color theme of your party.

This is a cute and fun project that you'll enjoy making with your kids and then cherish for the year! Pysselbolaget has shared the diy for making an owl calendar using cardboard. To make your own owl calendar you'll need thin pieces of cardboard for example from a cereal box, paint, brush, paperbinders, scissors, glue and sequins, buttons or other decoration for eyes. This will make a great handmade gift this year or a stocking stuffer. For instructions and to download the template go here (scroll down for instructions in English).
Need one now? You can also customize and print your own calendar choosing your favorite artwork from here.
Colette Bream was born and raised in Europe is currently living in the United States.
She shares: "My shop started when my daughter was born. I had a desire to rid her room of anything that wasn’t natural (any polyester, plastic, etc.). I was looking for something beautiful in its simplicity and innocence, and I wanted to accentuate that with colorful accessories. With that in mind, and with a nostalgic nod to my own childhood (perhaps in an attempt to bring old, faded memories back to life), Colette Bream was born."
In her online store she sells soft toys and homewares that designed and handmade individually by her using only natural materials. The pillow collection in owl, house, animal, cloud and star shapes is simply unique, whimsical and delightful.

I am loving everything in the new holiday range by H&M. The cushion cover featuring an owl with a mustache and top hat makes me smile. I also adore the raccoon and cat pillow cases which can be coordinated with faux fur throws to create a bold yet cozy corner for your guests in your living room. The animal prints are available on mugs too.
I couldn't really resist putting that ceramic tray on my wish list. Gorgeous!
