Happy Halloween everyone! If you celebrate the holiday, I wish you and your family a safe trick-or-treating. Thank you for being with me here. I had a great time with you all. I'll see you on Tuesday. But before I go here are few of the owl carved pumpkins that will send a shiver down the spine of every passer-by (in a good way)! Do you agree?

Michigan artist Christina Mrozik makes these amazing paintings using ink or marker on paper and adds details with watercolors and high pigmented acrylics. Her unique style of adorning animal bodies with flowers, branches and bones is so incredible that what appear to be a single form to the viewer, on a closer look will become a treasure hunt of incredible details sort of hidden in each painting.

The Big Chill is a whimsical fabric collection by Dear Stella featuring woodland creatures and forest landscapes to mix and match. The collection transports you to "a land where night owls, their eyes aglow, populate the midnight forest alongside quick-footed critters and bouncing bunnies." The owl, deer, bear, fox, snail and squirrel print comes on icy blue and navy background punctuated by warm tones. You can find all the items from the collection here.
