Mechanical Animals on the Streets of Paris by Ardif

Ardif is a street artist based in Paris. He studied architecture as a career, while working as an architect he was interested in modern, minimalist design in the buildings and intricacy in the the decorative facades.

His series "mechanimals" is a collection of illustrations that are a combination of half animal and half mechanical. The paste-ups find their way to the empty spaces on walls and spaces of buildings in France.

"The artist says that he’d like people to think that they are robots, hybrid beings from two different and unrelated worlds, and tries to find a balance between the two themes in his drawings. The important message he tries to convey is that developing technical and human progress is essential, but it should not be done at the expense of natural heritage." - via

Waou superbe. J'adore. Je trouve que certaines rues seraient moins tristes.
