Animal Silhouettes Superimposed on Natural Scenery

Russian artist and art lover Nikolai Tolstyh creates paper silhouettes of animals and to fill them up uses a visually rich backdrop that consists of leaves, branches and flowers. The combination of stark white animals shapes and bright landscapes work perfectly. Each piece looks like an artwork where the primary subject animals are framed by the scenery. You can see more of his work on Instagram.

These are so cool! I especially love the ones with the flowers behind them, but these are all so creative. This is such an interesting concept.

Have a good weekend :)

I agree, flowers spark life into the papercut animals. Thanks for stopping by :)
