Dieter Braun is a freelance illustrator from Hamburg,Germany. His eye catching illustrations are mainly digital that start with a sketch and filled in with details, textures and colors in Photoshop. He shares about his work: "While most of my work is digital, I like to make it look as though it had been created using traditional printing techniques."
His subject matter range from objects to human portraits but it's the animals that's the recurring theme in his work. In fact, he regularly travels to Africa and Australia to observe the local wildlife in its natural habitat. His animal illustrations are formed with geometric shapes, muted colors to give them a retro style.
