Susan Wraight was born in Berkshire, England and currently working Australia. She graduated with BA (Hons) in Three Dimensional Design from Brighton Polytechnic and gained MA in Jewelry and Silversmithing Royal College of Art, London. While she was still making jewelry she got interested in Netsuke which is a traditional Japanese craft of carving miniature wooden sculptures and now has been creating tiny cravings for 30 years. Her work is in many private and prestigious collections, including those of HIH Prince Takamado of Japan, the Kyoto Seishu Netsuke Art Museum, and the Office of the President, USA.
