Montreal Botanical Garden: Mosaiculture

These incredible horticulture works of art are created for the international competition in Mosaiculture in Montreal Botanical Garden, Canada where 48 Mosiacultures are on display till September 29th covering about 185 acre of the garden. Mosiacultures is a french term where bedding plants are used 'like a mosaic' to form patterns and designs. Each sculpture can weigh up to 100 tons, 50 foot tall and consist of whopping 300,000 plants! I have never seen anything of this magnitude before made with living plants. Isn't this amazing?

More information and details on visiting the garden can be found here.

My home town! The Botanical Gardens are an absolute display of wonder---every year, it just gets better and better! If you ever have a chance to go, be prepared to be amazed. And you need to be there the whole day, it is of that magnitude! It's so beautiful!
