DIY: Owl Costume

Ellen Luckett Baker of Alpha Mom created this super easy owl costume using old t-shirt scarps and glue. It's a perfect last minute costume which doesn't require a stitch. I love such fun and easy on the wallet costumes. Do you know what are you going to be for Halloween?

Click here for instructions and to download the template for feathers and mask.

This is so cute! I love the costume but her little sassy pose makes it. Great idea.

Oh man! I have this bookmarked from last year (had swine flu the week leading up to Halloween, so my costume was a repeat), and can't wait to make a grown-up version!

I made one for my 1-year-old this halloween and it was a big hit! I added an owl hat from Gap and homemade tutu for some flair.
