Oprah's Favorite 'Wild & Wooly'

Paperproducts Designs partnered with Vicki Sawyer an artist from  Franklin, Tennessee to launch delightful collection of  plates, mugs, matches and mugs featuring animal portraits.

The plate set 'Wild & Wooly' made list of Oprah’s Favorite Things in the December 2015 issue of O magazine! "These dishwasher – and microwave – safe new bone china plates will add a touch of whimsy to your appetizers and desserts." – Oprah Winfrey, O, The Oprah Magazine.

Several years ago during a nature walk it occurred to Sawyer that “if birds could build nests, then they could make hats.”! This notion inspired the series of bird paintings in which each bird is seen wearing a whimsical ‘hat’ made of leaves, flowers and other natural materials. You can find the all the products from the collection here.

Happy Thanksgiving!

image via

Good morning, all! Before we plug out our systems and eject ourselves from the cyber world,  I would like to take this opportunity to convey my heart-felt gratitude to you all. When people ask me what do I do for living, I feel thrilled to share with them that I am a part of this wonderful community of owl lovers from all over the world. This blog was started as a small group of people who enjoyed daily features on talented artists and wonderful people creating all things owl related. My Owl Barn has grown over the last few years and taught me a lot of valuable things in life like dedication and patience. For which, I am thankful.

I can't imagine to be where I am today without your friendship and love. It means the world to receive your sweet comments and encouraging emails regularly. Thank you! :) I wish you and your family a happy thanksgiving. Enjoy!
