Body Painted Animal Portraits by Shannon Holt

Shannon Holt is a body painter from Florida who has been body painting since 2009. She uses human body as her canvas to create stunning, hyper-realistic animal portraits. The pieces shown are from Holt's “Florida Wildlife Series" which is a collection of several animal portraits all painstakingly drawn on human bodies. Her amazing artwork is often applied to bare human skin and consists of multiple models.

The series include total of nine portraits of animals including great horned owl, blue heron, red fox, alligator with a baby, panther, snowy egrets, armadillo, bees and deer. Each portrait took Holt about 6 to 12 hours to complete. You can view all the animal portraits from the series here. If you like, you can also buy her masterpieces which are available as limited edition prints from "I Love Body Art".
