I am excited about today's post that features whimsical work by Alexis of Meadow and Fawn. Alexis is an Australian based sculptor, painter and a jewelry maker who creates dreamlike world that you can't help but fall in love with.

Each necklace is like a treasure box holding a hidden landscape that only gets revealed on being opened. The artist sculpts the little creatures and paints them before they are placed inside the necklace, the outside is hand-painted with incredible attention to detail. She uses real heather leaves, moss and lichen along with miniature paintings to create a narrative in a necklace.
