Happy Friday! + Holiday Cards

Happy Friday, friends! I hope you had a good time at the blog the past week. It was fun for me to find all those seasonal owl finds and sharing them with you here.

Last year, many of you contacted me requesting to make holiday cards round-up earlier than I usually do. Because I remembered that, I have started to make a post consolidating all my favorite cards to do a round-up. I'll be back with that very soon! For today, let me introduce to you these two wonderful artists' work that are so amazing that I couldn't wait to share! The cards above by Sue Reeves of Artsuzan depicting woodland creatures embellished with glitter detail and gold embossing make them a perfect choice to send holiday greetings. The limited edition cards below by Eemaan feature whimsical creatures based on the original watercolor paintings in festive color scheme will make the recipient cherish them through the holidays!

Nature Inspired Sculptures and Installations by David Wiseman

Wiseman Studio is a collaboration between one of the American's leading designers David and his brother Ari Wiseman. The brand specializes in unique sculptural objects and intricate installations made with an exquisite combination of bronze and porcelain that gives his work a beautiful balance of strength and delicacy.

David often incorporates a blossoming tree branch, a succulent flower, a seedpod, and a perching owl in furniture, lighting, sculptures and canopy installations. He once crafted an installation for Christian Dior's flagship store in Shanghai for which he sculpted 500 porcelain lily of the valley blossoms that adorned a metal vine. "My goal in creating work was always to bring nature indoors."

His work is in permanent collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, RISD Museum, and the Corning Museum of Glass.
