Uncommon: iPhone Art Cases

I just discovered this website Uncommon, which lets you customize your own iPhone covers either by submitting your own photo or with artwork created by renowned artists.

Uncommon was founded when a team of very talented and highly experienced entrepreneurs decided to create something great with other creative people. There are about 29 collections where you'll find completely cool and uncommon products. Take a look for yourself!

Ferm Living: Wallpaper

Ferm Living is a Danish company that designs interior products including wallpapers, textiles and a huge range of kids' merchandise. Now you can start decorating your little one's room around owl theme because they have everything to offer from owl quilted blanket to mobile and from owl shaped cushion to wallpaper!! I think the color palette of orange, brown and blue is neutral and suitable for both both boys and girls.

You can also mix and match that gorgeous hot air balloon wallpaper with the owl bedding like shown in the picture. Both blend perfectly together. What do you think?

Geninne Zlatkis

I have been following Geninne Zlatkis's blog for sometime and love her beautiful art work. She has reopened her store on Etsy with so many lovely pieces in her bird series. It's so hard for me to pick only a few to feature here in the post. Visit her store Geninne's Art Store for cat, dog and nature inspired pieces. Have a wonderful weekend!

The Pin Pals

Samantha Purdy and Sara Guindon of The Pin Pals make amazing, amazing stuff. This hibou (owl in french) puppet caught my eye immediately while I was browsing their wonderful store. Stop by their store for more puppets, cross-stitched hairclips and earrings.

Sue Urquhart: Lulu Bug Jewelry

Sue Urquhart graduated in graphic design from Academy of Art college in San Francisco. Later in her life she discovered the art of jewelry making and was immediately hooked. She has designed high end jewelry and has worked with silver for over 17 years. Her fabulous jewelry pieces are inspired by nature and birds.

"I especially love birds - they are found on every continent, and no matter where you are, if you stop and look you can find bird life. I enjoy just watching them go about their business, and they never fail to bring a smile to my face."

Visit her store Lulu Bug (named after her adorable Shar-Pei dog) to see the entire range of her jewelry.

Owl Themed First Birthday

Thanks Kristen for sending us the photos of your friend's son's first birthday party. I really like that 'baby owl bath' sign, and how adorable are those big eyed owl cupcakes!

Mini Labo: French Brand

I love the patterns and sweet designs by French brand Mini Labo. I couldn't help but share more than just owl products, which I think are equally adorable. Their product range includes notebooks, pouches, stickers, greeting cards, kids suitcases and storage boxes.
