Paper Cut Sculptures by Peggy Rose

Peggy Rose was born in NYC in 1953. She grew up in a family of artists and most of her childhood was spent outdoor riding bike, playing tennis, and wandering in the woods. Her parents had a huge influence on her becoming an artist, she started working in her father's silk screen factory at the age of 13. She used to take her watercolors with her to the factory and after selling hundreds of paintings in the summers on Cape Cod she never stopped.

Besides painting she loves to create with paper. She makes sculptures using hand-cut paper, paper mache, embroidery, and finishes with ceramic teeth and claws. The fur and feathers of these creatures show incredible craftsmanship. You can find more of her work on her website
