Fallen Wood Carved Into Beautiful Jewelry by Giles Newman

Giles Newman is one of my favorite wood carvers. His work is inspired by the natural world is rustic and has old time charm. I have featured his wonderful work before on the blog here. He left his 9 to 5 job to carve full-time and pursue his dreams. He carves out amazing everyday functional pieces as well as jewelry out of fallen and reclaimed wood. Using only a knife he carves owl, horse, rabbit, fox, and floral designed pendants. These pieces are left uncolored showing the beautiful textures and grains of the wood. You can find the available pieces and link to his tutorial videos on his website.
