Ceramist Combines Her Love for Animals in Her Work

Jenny Pope of JPop is an artist and a ceramist based in New York. Through her work, that's primarily features endangered species, she hopes to bring awareness regarding our environment that has alarmingly depleted and altered.

Her illustrative ceramics are hand-painted in bright colors and hand-carved into forms that made to look like owls, bats, unicorns, foxes, and other creatures inspired by artist's imagination. "I enjoy the company of animals in life and in artwork. Invasive, endangered, and mythic animals uncurl from my imagination in the form of woodcut prints and hand-built ceramics."

The mugs, plates, vases and jars are not only suitable for everyday use but are a piece of art that'll bring whimsy to any corner of your house. To see the available pieces, visit her online store.
