Inuit Artist's Iconic Designs on Ceramics, Jewelry and More











Kenojuak Ashevak is the best known and the most notable indigenous pioneers of Inuit art from North of Canada. Her prints, drawings and sculptures won hearts of many around the globe. Her bold and colorful designs have been used on Canadian stamps and coins. The owl is a recurring subject matter in Kenojuak's artwork. Enchanted Owl, Luminous Char, Floral Passage and Owls' Bouquet are some of the iconic illustrations by Kenojuak Ashevak that can be found on mugs, umbrellas, jewelry and more at Oscardo.

Kenojuak Ashevak was featured in a National Film Board production, Eskimo Artist – Kenojuak that was nominated for Oscars. She has received membership in the Order of Canada, elected to the Royal Canadian Academy and inducted into Canada’s “Walk of Fame”.
