Folk Art Created Using Bottle Caps, Soda Cans and Other Salvaged Materials

Alan Moore is the master mind behind the upcycled art at The Moore Family Folk Art. He was born and grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. As a child he enjoyed the art classes the most and would construct sculptures with the trash and other objects he collected around the house. He now creates folk art using a variety of salvaged materials such as old pianos, roof metals, vintage bottle caps, steel soda cans, driftwoods, farm equipment, and more. His two daughters help him in the studio and also teach recycled art classes to the kids their age.

At any given time they have around 5000 vintage steel soda and beer cans, and over 150,000 different bottle caps-old and new some from 1930s in stock to be used to create custom orders. Their work can be found at galleries and restaurants in Colorado and Florida, as well as all over the nation through their home studio in Denver. Their work has been published in Bamboo Magazine - Conscious Family Living, and their Tin Shop was featured on Facebook Live by Country Living Magazine.
