Beach Stone Painted in Monochromatic Palette by Natasha Newton

Happy Friday, everyone! As the holidays are approaching time seems to be flying by even faster. Do you feel the same? I would like to leave you for the weekend with the delightful work of Natasha Newton.

Natasha Newton is an artist and a illustrator who tells stories through painting on stones she found on her trips to beach along the Suffolk coast. She collects small stones and pieces of sea glass washed up to the shore by the waves and hand-paints them with whimsical illustrations in monochromatic palette.

"I select certain pieces to paint on, giving these items another life as a treasured work of art. I am fascinated by the stories of these objects; what they were once a part of and the past life they had, before they were washed up on to the shoreline and into my hands."

You can join her on Instagram which she updates with her new painted stones and art prints that are oh so gorgeous!

Hand-Embroidered Animal Portraits by Ellie Tolfts

Ellie Tolfts is an illustrator and an embroider originally from East Anglia, currently living in Plymouth. I stumbled across her Instagram and instantly fell in love with her embroidered animal portraits. She generally works on light background with colored floss which makes her embroidered pieces pop. Besides working with thread and a needle, she loves to draw monsters and skeletons with black dip pen inks. To see her more of her work go to her website and Instagram.

Snuggable Unique Dolls by Billoo Boutique

Bushra Mirza is an artist and a doll maker from Vancouver. She enjoyed working with fabric ever since she was a little child, watching her mother and sister sew inspired her to explore her creativity. She would collect left over fabric around the house and make outfits for her dolls. Her childhood paved the way to what later in her life became so special in form of a brand Billoo Boutique.

Billoo Boutique offers heirloom dolls and toys handmade using natural cotton and lambswool. I love the unique shapes of her forest friends who are hand-embroidered by the artist to add details. Your little ones will love to snuggle and cuddle with the whimsical creatures. You can view more of her dolls on Instagram.

The range of their socks, lounge pants and pajamas assure comfort and fit so you really could wear them all day long! The night owls, bunnies, hedgehogs, robin bird, penguins, squirrel, cat and dog are some of the motifs are so adorable that you would never want to leave your home.
