Paintings Inspired by Beautiful Landscapes and the Colorful City

Regina Lord was born in Northern Arizona where she received her Bachelors in the Science of Nursing from Northern Arizona University in 1999. After working for 13 years as a pediatric, she left her nursing career to embrace her true calling and became a full time artist. She now lives in Tucson. It's very obvious when you look at her art who the city and the landscapes have influenced it.

I myself lived in Tucson for more than 10 years and it's bright sun, the Mexican colors, and folk style that's visible everywhere can bring out the creative side in you. Regina incorporates all the natural beauty surrounding her in abundance in her paintings. She paints on mini canvases and wood slices in rich colors. You can find more of her paintings on Instagram and products based on her originals on Etsy.

Lively Embroidered Bird Brooches by Paulina Bartnik

Conieco is an online store of the embroidery artist Paulina Bartnik based in Poland. Those of you who have been reading my blog for a while would know how much I love her work and have featured her embroidered birds here. She embroiders bird shaped brooches with unmatched craftsmanship that makes the birds appear almost real.

You can find updates on her new work and any announcements on Instagram. Because her work has a huge fan following, her brooches get sold out quickly. If you are on a look out for one-of-a-kind statement piece then watch her online store where they become available for purchase.
