Textile Dolls Inspired By Fairy Tales by Pantovola

Good morning friends, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I would like to start this week with the amazing work of Anouk de Groot a textile artist from Scotland. I first discovered her work a few years ago and loved it so much that I shared it here. Thanks to websites like Pinterest where I once again, after all this time, came across her textile dolls that are inspired by fairy tales and folk art. Owls are a recurring theme in her work along with the mystical creatures that are constructed using vintage fabric, embroidery and beads. Each doll is one-of-a-kind piece which is hand-painted by the artist with love and care. You take a trip to a magical world for a while by visiting her store - Pantovola.
