Happy Friday! It's time to wrap up for the weekend but before I go I'd like to share some wonderful printables with you from Paper Meadows Photography a team of mother and daughter who are passionate about capturing their love for nature in their photographs.

They generously share their photography as wall decor, nursery art, digital papers, journal pages, greeting cards, and scrapbooking accents. You can find the goodies shown above and many more on their blog and feel free to download whatever that you need for free!

Doodles With Optical Illusion and Hundreds of Intricate Images

A Cambodia born artist Visoth Kakvei who presently lives in Maine draws highly detailed, jaw-dropping optical illusion filled doodles in his sketchbook. Using pens and markers he generally draws his doodles freehand taking hours for a single piece to finish, then digitally enhances them which makes his subject appear alive. Every artwork is a fine composition of hundreds of tiny images.

He captions his owl work on Instagram as follow: "Fighting for the night. Once he's freed, the world will turn dark forever." His mastery over the work of doodling has gained him a huge fan following on Instagram, the last I checked he had close to 1 million followers. If you like, you can join him on Instagram where he posts pictures of his new work as well as mesmerizing videos of him in action.

Scion's Beautiful Patterns on Wallpaper and Fabric

For sometime, I have been meaning to prepare a post on British brand Scion's Noukku collection of beautiful wallpapers. Now I feel glad that I didn't post about their wall coverings before because they recently launched a fabric collection called Pepino that compliments each other.

Pepino is available in nine cheerful designs in total of 43 colors options. The playful motifs is a wonderful mix of owls, cranes, birds, and flowers. The zesty color palette of fabrics is suitable for drapes, cushions and to be used for upholstery. Inspired by Scandinavian designs, the fabric collection is perfect to add a burst of color to any corner of your house.

Hannah Bowen the Scion’s designer shares how the designs came to be: “I created them using paper-cut collage to give them a slick, contemporary look. I played with the idea of tessellating shapes, and motifs that would fit together to form simple, cheerful prints.”

Enamel Pin Series on Endangered Animals

Welcome back to the brand new week on My Owl Barn. Let's start with the beautiful work by Natelle Quek of Natelle Draws Stuff. Natelle is an animal lover and an illustrator based in Florida who makes cool stuff like patches, stickers and pins. The enamel pins are based on her original designs that seem like a wonderful combination of two images. For example the owl image is perfectly merged with floral patterns covering the body.

Pins are made in hard enamel with gold metal finish and glitter accents. She has an ongoing series of enamel pins featuring endangered species, 20% of its profit is donated to World Wildlife Fund. You can find her pins from the series and more on Instagram. Her account has a  huge following with over 70 thousand fans of her work.
