Colorful Tribal and Woodland Birthday Party

Happy Friday! Don't we all just love short weeks. It's great to get a 3 days week once in a while. I hope you all made the most of your long weekend. But if you had family and friends over for 4th of July celebrations and didn't get much time for yourself then I hope you can spend some time to do whatever that you enjoy and helps you relax.

Meanwhile, I am going to leave you with this wonderful Tribal and Woodland Themed Birthday Party with tons of great ideas. Migo's birthday party styled by Party Deco has many details that will help you inspire in planning a party for a little one in your life. I love the use of feathers, geometric patterns, plush toys, animal cupcakes, cactus shaped sculptures, and last but not the least the bright, fun color palette.

You can find more pictures on Party Deco's Facebook page.

Porcelain Tray, Coloring book and More by Patch NYC

Designers Don Carney and John Ross of Patch NYC are well known for their eye-catching color palette, intricate vintage inspired details and gold foil accents. Patch NYC from Galison launches new collection offering stationery, coloring book and homeware in their signature style.

The coloring book consists of 40 pages featuring illustrations of flora and fauna including owl, bear in black line drawing for easy coloring. The trim size for each page is 9 x 12"and comes perforated for framing!

Another cool thing from the collection is greeting cards that come in a lovely pull-out drawer style box. The set contains total of 16 foil stamped cards in 8 designs with colored envelopes. Then there is a Patch NYC gilded undated planner featuring sections that'll help keep you organized with your tasks.

My personal favorite from the collection is the tray with beautiful blue background and fish or owl illustration enhanced with gold foil. It's perfect to hold your keys, jewelry or trinkets. The tray comes packaged in a sturdy die-cut window box, great to give as a gift.

Bird By Bird Project: Miniature Bird Paintings

Good morning, friends! Did you finish up the tasks that were piling up or relaxed and spent some quality time with your family. Whatever is that you did, I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend. The first post of this short week is the amazing work of Dina Brodsky.

Bird by Bird is an ongoing project by Dina Brodsky that began on her walks with her son as a way to explore the New York city's birds and saw how much joy it brought to him when they fed the birds. These walks together with her son inspired her to make miniature bird paintings. The highly detailed paintings are made using ballpoint pen, watercolor and gouache. You can view all the paintings from series on Instagram, an account dedicated to the project.
