Trash Turned Into Amazing Sculptures by Bordalo Segundo

Bordalo Segundo also known as Bordalo II is an artist from Portugal who uses trash and discarded materials to make massive 3D sculptures. He travels all around the world with an aim of spreading awareness about the impact human consumerism has on the planet. His work often features animals in strong and deep colors.

"I belong to a generation that is extremely consumerist, materialist and greedy. With the production of things at its highest, the production of "waste" and unused objects is also at its highest. "Waste" is quoted because of its abstract definition: "one man's trash is another man's treasure". I create, recreate, assemble and develop ideas with end-of-life material and try to relate it to sustainability, ecological and social awareness." via.

You can see more of his work blogged previously, here.

Agni Prasada Burning: Wooden Art Pieces

Stephanie Butler has over 8 years of experience as a pyrography artist. She creates fabulous pieces of art by burning nature inspired and animal designs onto wood. All the designs are freehand without any help of stencils or lasers, that means no two pieces are alike.

Her online store Agni Prasada Burning which means "Essence of Fire" is well stocked with unique pieces including jewelry, bookmarks, trinket dishes and keyrings. If you would like her to create something custom for a wedding or a personalized gift then she'll be happy to hear from you.

Wildlife Inspired Geometric Shaped Necklaces

Yael Donenfeld is a jewelry designer from Israel. She recreates animals in bold geometric shapes that are both chic and fun. The pendants are made of 18k gold at her home studio and come with an elegant chain ready to wear. She hopes each person wearing her piece feels beautiful and artistic.

She considers herself an art therapist and shares "I have come to realize that making jewelry is my own therapy, a place where peacefulness takes over and my passion becomes reality."

You can find more pendants in unique designs in her online store - By Yaeli.
