Beer Labels Featuring Hybrid Animal Creatures

images via herehere and here
Colorado based microbrewery Crazy Mountain Brewing Company collaborated with Moxie Sozo to design packaging for a range of its beer. The label features striking illustrations of hybrid animal creatures each one comprising of three different Colorado-dwelling animals. For example: Cara De Luna - Sohalia has the head of a barn owl, the body of a lizard and the wings of a bat. Or, Crazy Mountain - Sheamus a combination of an owl, a mule deer and a bobcat. Each animal has a story that tells a little tale about the brewing process, color and flavor of the beer.

“They’re reminiscent of your childhood and Where the Wild Things Are,” says Crazy Mountain marketing manager Kaleigh Armitage. “It’s trippy. It’s a little different, out of the box. But it’s also memorable.” via

Paper-Cut Smaller Than An Inch Turned Into Necklaces

Nayan Shrimali and Vaishali Chudasama from Ahmedabad, India are the artists behind NVillustration. Vaishali has always loved to illustrate and as an animation student learnt to make models and sets. Her illustrations were given a 3D form when she met Nayan who is also a furniture and interior designer. It's the combination of passion for art and knowledge of technology that resulted into lovely paper cut jewelry.

Their one-on-a-kind necklaces are hand-cut with a surgical knife and are hand-painted with animals and nature inspired scenes. The entire paper-cut that can be smaller than an inch is set inside a wooden box covered with thin glass to protect it. It's a statement, fun piece that you would want to wear everyday. You can contact them for personalized couple portraits through their online store.
