Parliament Chocolate is a California based artisanal, small-batch chocolate company with a focus on producing high-quality, flavorful chocolate using only two ingredients - cacao and organic cane sugar. The packaging of this delicious treat features hand-drawn owl illustrations by a long artist James McClung. I like the simple packaging that makes the beautiful owl designs stand out on a light textured paper.

Antique Book Pages Adorned with Stunning Drawings

British artist Roo Abrook has been making fabulous prints and collage art for over 5 years using vintage books, sheet music, antique papers, postage stamps with print and pattern. Her prints are produced on hand-cut upcycled pages with her original hand drawings inspired by animals and nature. The vibrant colors of the prints beautifully contrast with the naturally aged paper. You can find her artwork in lifestyle boutiques and art gallery shops as well as on her online store. Her drawings are also available on cushions, perfect to add a little bit of character to any home.

Wild Animals Wandering the Streets Captured In Photographs

Mikko Lagerstedt is a self-taught fine art photographer from Finland. The inspiration for his work first came to him when he was driving on a summer’s eve after a rainy day, the sun was shining, and the fog was rising in the fields. He was so enchanted by the atmosphere that he decided to capture more of these moments in his photographs. "I love to capture night, and atmospheric photography and I enjoy capturing simplistic landscapes. "

The collection "Night Animals " is a brilliant combination of two separate photographs taken by him- one of an animal and the other of an extra-ordinary atmospheric background, both captured by the photographer himself. The end result is magical where the animals are seen wandering the streets in the silence of the night. His work has been featured on BBC, The Telegraph, Daily Mail and Nikon. You can find prints of his photographs here.

Hand-Painted Mural at an Italian Restaurant

For me, it's a great treat to come across a gorgeous hand-painted mural at a public place like cafe, restaurant or a book store. Murals are a great alternative to a blank wall, its a large scale artwork with details which you can gradually discover as you sip on your latte.

The mural painted in vibrant, eye-catching colors at Zizzi an Italian restaurant in Leeds designed by Ricardo Bessa an artist based in London. The city's Coat of Arms features a trio of owls and there's even a Leeds Owl Trail. It didn't take the artist too long to paint owls for the mural. One can see different kinds of owls perched on a tree painted in bright colors that makes the mural pop against the light colored interior.
