Surreal Digital Artwork by Daria Petrilli

Daria Petrilli is an illustrator who studied at Istituto Europeo di Design Roma Rome, Italy. She writes, the surreal digital artwork is "for my personal joy, without bosses, and even publishers ... only for my pleasure." Her work depicts young ladies with ethereal beauty often in dresses from the past and curled hair. The characters seem to have a close friendly relationship with birds who are seen either perched on their shoulder or sitting around them. The artist shares about her fascination for birds - “To me they communicate a sense of primordial restlessness.”
