Gluten Free Vegan Owl Cupcakes

Good morning, everybody! I am planning a dinner this weekend for a group of close friends in which many are strictly gluten free and vegan. Sometimes it gets challenging for me to come up with new cute dessert ideas that are gluten free as well as does not have any dairy in it, especially because I don't bake very often. When I came across this recipe to make adorable owl cupcakes I knew they fit the bill! Now I know what I'll whip by for the dinner that will please the guests very much. You can find the entire tutorial to make your own owl cupcakes on this blog.

"Barn Owls and Hollyhocks" A Series of Metallic Wallpaper

Barn Owls and Hollyhocks is a collaboration between Portland's Juju Papers and artist Carson Ellis. Besides loving owls, I have always been gravitated towards metallics on almost anything and everything. When I saw this beautiful design of wallpaper I started to think of spots in my house where I could have this beauty. It would look great in gold in a bathroom or in silver in a hallway.

There is a sweet, heart-warming story behind the artist's inspiration for the owl wallpaper. You can read the it here.
