Layered Fine Jewelry by Black Rabbit Studio

Amanda Black of Black Rabbit Studio received degree in BFA in Craft and Material Studies, at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She loves working with hands, after doing a beginners metalsmithing course in her early twenties she soon found out that working with metal is what she loved the most. She now has an experience of almost 20 years working with metal. The jewelry she makes is hand cut and formed from layers of fine silver that are pierced and stamped and embellished with stones. The necklace and rings with 24k gold is bonded through an ancient Korean gilding technique called keum boo.
