Delicate Hoop Embroideries by Agnes & Cora

I recently discovered the stunning embroideries by Lisa Toppin. Her beautiful work is inspired by nature and vintage fabrics, and handmade at her home in a village in Fife, Scotland. She is an avid collector of old fabrics, buttons and beads that she carefully selects from to make her pieces. She creates one-of-a-kind hoops and brooches measuring approximately 6cm in diameter with owls, birds butterflies, insects and flowers embroidery. Each piece takes layering of free machine embroidery and threads to get the texture right. She adds fine details like eye, beak and legs by hand. The colors and textures make each accessory so real. She sells her products under the brand name Agnes & Cora founded in 2008. Visit this link to swoon over more of her stunning work that has been sold in the past.
