New York based artist Scott Kelley earned BFA degree from The Cooper Union School of Art, New York; also studied at The Slade School of Art, London; and was a fellow at The Glassel School of Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. He was only eighteen when he had his first solo exhibition with The American Realist Gallery in New York.

He works in watercolors, ink and gouache on paper painting beautiful owls, deer, rabbit, moose and other creatures with incredible detail. His animals have unique and distinctive personalities. His work has a smooth feeling achieved through multiple layers of careful application of paint.
