Hello dear friends. As we wind down for the year, it's a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our last twelve months and be grateful for all the wonderful things happened to us during the year. I have learnt to feel gratitude for all the days alike - the good days, bad days, joyous days, and challenging days. I read somewhere we learn the most important lessons of our lives when we are going through hard times. The rough times help us grow as a person and make us humble. Also, makes us see all the positive things in everyday small things. If we remember that, I am sure we can live a better and a happier life.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year. I wish you a brighter, happier and more fulfilling 2016. This year was a lot of fun and I had a great time with you all here. I hope you too enjoyed your visits everyday. I'll be taking a blog break and will be seeing you on January 4th, 2016.

P.S.: Enjoy a peek into houses decked our for the Christmas season with the most fabulous owl decorations, unique ornaments and flocked trees.

XMAS 2015 Advent Calendar Illustrations Part III

I hope you have been enjoying the advent calendar round-ups featuring wonderful work dedicated to Christmas. If I have to pick my favorite from all the amazing illustrations then I would pick the brilliant work by Miriam Bos a designer from Netherlands. Her illustrations are colorful, and are filled with quirky patterns and designs.

Last but not the least, the sweet advent calendar Christmas illustrations by Hong Kong based designer Gina Maldonado of Cocogigidesign.

XMAS 2015 Advent Calendar Illustrations Part II

Moving on with our second round-up for the Christmas advent calendar illustrations. Stephanie Thannhauser is an illustrator and designer who is designing one Christmas related illustration every day. The illustrations have a traditional pasted collage feel while primarily being done digitally.

Somerset hills based freelance surface pattern designer and illustrator Lizzie Mackay's simple yet adorable illustrations are done using only a few soft colors with the dash of dark here and there which makes the whole image pop!

I'll be right back with our third and the last round-up of advent calendar with more fabulous Christmas illustrations. So, stay tuned!

XMAS 2015 Advent Calendar Illustrations Part I

An advent calendar is an exciting way to count down to Christmas that helps you get in the festive spirit. What better way to count the days until Christmas than with the delightful illustrations. I have gathered some vibrant, festive and intricate illustrations that take you on a fun-filled journey from December 1 to Christmas eve. Let me start with the beautiful work of the talented freelance surface pattern designer and illustrator Penny of Pattern Penny.

Next is the cheerful illustrations by Caroline Alfreds a Swedish illustrator and designer, based in Los Angeles, California. This is her first advent calendar and she is off to a good start. She should make one every year. Wouldn't it make us all happy? She has also been working on a project for herself where she draws one doodle a day for the year. Take a peak in her sketchbook here, it's a treat!

I am loving the texture and the vintage styled advent calendar illustrations by Katy Bloss an illustrator and a designer.
