Beautiful Paper Mache Dioramas

I just recently discovered the beautiful work of a Brazilian artist Marcella Ferreira. She makes detailed dolls and dioramas out of paper mache. Her work is delicate, magical and of narrative nature. To learn more about her and her work you can visit her website where she has categorized her work under dolls, watercolors and collages. She also has an online store where you can find her pieces that are available for purchase, or if you have something in mind that you would like her to make for you then you can be in touch with her with your custom order.

Pencil Owl Holder with Template

This paper pencil owl holder printable is something that teachers can make as a classroom project with the kids and later hang it on wall. There is a template to make the owl shape which can be downloaded from here. Simply print the template, cut and decorate. If you like, you can make a garland using different colored owls who will guard your pencils so they don't get lost.

Baby Journal by Laikonik

Laikonik was started by Kasia Jaquot in 2005 as a venture where she could realize her creative ideas and her love for vintage Polish folk art.

Her main focus is products’ quality and environmentally friendly nature behind her brand. In celebration of their 10 year anniversary they launched a special edition of Once A Year Book. The book is a unique idea to record a child’s life from birth to adulthood. It's hand bound and features beautiful letter-pressed cover illustrated by Laura Blythman in soft pastels. The book comes in two designs - owl and fox, in a ready-to-gift wooden box.

Wings Print Scarves by Shovava

Melbourne-based designer Roza Khamitova, originally from Kazakhstan designs stunning scarves. Her scarves feature hand drawn bird feathers in bright and beautiful colors accompanied with intricate patterns. Each scarf, when worn as shawl around the shoulders gives an illusion as if the person wearing it has an awesome set of bird wings.

“I observe nature and find inspiration in the smallest details," artist's statement. "Maybe it’s a butterfly’s wing or the patterned cell structure of a leaf. Maybe it’s a feather or a raven perched on a tree limb. I take in what I see in the natural world and then create my pieces.”

Roza sells her gorgeous series of scarves on her website Shovava where you can also check out skirts and leggings by her.

I featured her owl scarf previously here.
