Illustrations by Chinese Duo Xue Wawa

Happy Friday! It's the end of another wonderful week together. I'll wrap up with these super cute illustrations by a team of Chinese artists Yang Xue and Chen Xi also known as Xue Wawa. These two talented people have been working together for ten years mainly on children's book and expanding to editorials or advertising sectors. I find their work very detailed and inspiring. Each of the creatures has it's own unique personality and subtle expression. Like the owl with a priceless expression of surprise.

To learn more about them and to see more of their work check out their blog and read here.

Have a great weekend! See you back on Monday.

Animal Illustrations by Eric Becker

Lately I seem to gravitate towards anything with geometric patterns. These cool animal illustrations by Minneapolis artist Eric Becker formed with intricate lines that are skillfully combined with geometric patterns in bright colors are my new favorite.

Eric has an online store Kreaturlich which doesn't have anything at the moment but you can check back for any new work.

Animal Jumpers by Karma Clothing

I often come across animal prints is the kid's wear but it's so exciting to see them appear on adult clothing without looking silly. Karma Clothing's animal jumpers are cute and a fun way to keep yourself cozy in the nippy fall weather ahead. Since we all know that animal motifs never go out of fashion they are a perfect way to add flair and character to any ensemble. Rock them with skinny jeans, pencil skirt or para boots!

The Shapeshifting Owl + Video

I have posted about Laura of  Le Animalé previously here. Her new 'Le Transformer owl' is inspired by The Southern White Faced Scops Owl that changes it's shape! See the video below. You'll be amazed! To learn more about this unique characteristic read here.

Burberry Animal Head Umbrellas

Have you seen these before? I came across these animal heads umbrellas by Burberry just recently. These whimsical umbrellas are from Burberry's last year's Fall/Winter collection and no longer available online. But I loved them so much and I'm sure that you would too. After all, who doesn't like some eye candy!

The umbrella's handles featured numerous animal heads including owl, ram, duck, hound and pheasant. The heads were hand made in Italy with resin, maple wood and some were even gold plated. Gorgeous!
