Donna Wilson: Creative Creatures








I am a fan of Donna Wilson's work but somehow I missed her book Creative Creatures. It's a fantastic crafts book filled to the brim with inspirational ideas and creations with step-by-step clear instructions. The 'Owl Kite' is one of the many fun projects from the book shared at Red Ted Art. There are unique characters like banana bunting, a sausage-dog draft excluder, a sock monster ranging from easy to challenging that you can make on your own. Take a peek at the book here

Whoo doesn't like cute soaps? Amy Ta of 'Seventh Tree Soaps' hand makes these gorgeous owl soaps. Emma Hall














Emma Hall is a needle felting artist from Ireland who hand crafts incredible textile animal sculptures. She graduated from the University of Ulster with a degree in graphic design and after working as a graphic designer for over 10 years she moved on to working as an artist creating 3 dimensional soft sculptures. She  uses tweeds, lace, fleece, yarns, threads, wire, wax and mixed media in creating these creatures.

Her work has been exhibited throughout the UK and Ireland, she will be doing her first solo exhibition soon in Autumn. For updates on the show and to know about her new products follow her on Facebook.
