Eco DIY Collection: Eduardo Alessi







Eco DIY Collection by Eduardo Alessi an Italian designer is a series of products that are made with recycled cardboard sheets. Each item comes as a flat piece, pre-cut and perforated along with a set of simple instructions  These are easy to assemble without glue into clocks, lamps, pen holders, speakers and bookmarks. Once the products are put together, they resemble 5 different endangered species of animals - owl, elephant, giraffe, rhino and deer -  raising awareness about ecological issues. Printable Valentine Puppets





An adorable idea for kids to try this Valentine's day. To put everything together you'll need the following few things:
- template
- scissors
- small brads
- sucker or popsicle sticks

Just print the animal you want, cut around the dotted lines, assemble with brads and tape a stick in the back, and you are done! To download go here.

Needle and Felt


Amy of Needle and Felt makes these needle felt animals with 100% wool sourced from her sheep or local farmers. Each little creatures is made with lots of love and labor intensive process which involves shearing, washing, dyeing, designing and needle felting, all done by the artist herself.
