Zoo Sandwiches

Some people really know how to have fun with food. I came across these adorable sandwiches on Little Food Junction by Smita whose blog is filled to the brim with cute foods. Her edible creations have been published in several magazines and featured on BBC news, Disney Family Fun, Metro, Canadian Family and many more.

These fun animal sandwiches are not only healthy but will take just a few minutes to assemble. The tiger, panda, and owl are sure to be enjoyed by both kids and the kids-at-heart.

Is it just me or this week has flown by fast? It was cold and wet for the past few weeks here. And finally, the weatherman predicts sunny days ahead. I'm looking forward to spend sometime in the sun, sipping on iced teas! What are your plans? Whatever you do, I wish you a joyous weekend. See you back on Monday.

Fabulous Owl Themed Birthday Party

Julia from Festa com Gosto in Brazil styled this fun and lovely first birthday party. I love how felt, tissue paper and ribbon all look so perfect together.

The birthday girl's mom loves buntings so Julia made sure they were everywhere and the pattern continued on the cake, backdrop and signage.

The primary color palette of the party consists of pink, blue, magenta and yellow which is fresh and fabulous for a girl's party. The dessert table included assortments of owl cookies, cake pops and cupcakes. They  look yummy and too cute to eat!

There are so many lovely things at this party which makes this birthday party my new favorite. For more pictures and vendor credits go to Amy Atlas.com.
