Jewelry by Carolyn Morris Bach

I am so glad to have discovered these incredible jewelry pieces by Carolyn Morris. She is an artist who lives on seventy acres in the woodlands of Southern Rhode Island surrounded by pastures and forests which clearly have influenced her work.

She brings the spirits of the ancient soul into wearable jewelry. She only uses natural materials like silver, copper, stone, ivory and wood into making talismans and sets them into bundle of gold wire.

Each piece is handcrafted by her often has a human face or a figure, accompanied by symbolic creatures of the woodland like owls, rabbits, deer and foxes. Her work is in numerous museum collections including - Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Massachusetts Museum of Arts and Design, New York, New York, and collected in both USA and abroad.
