Australian artist Sean Avery makes these amazing sculptures out of old CDs. He breaks the CDs in specific shapes and then arranges them meticulously to turn them into these stunning and detailed animal sculptures.

“The nature of my sculpture practice ensures that each piece will be completely unique. I blend many different man-made materials together to make them appear strangely organic, with a distinct sense of movement,” the artist shares about the process. “I only use recycled materials to create my sculptures, which classifies my work as ‘sustainable art.’”

This talented scupltor has some very impressive skills of recreating fur, feathers and scales that alomost look natural and soft despite being made of fragments of hard plastic CDs.
