The Chipmunks' Merry Christmas

 via
"The Chipmunks' Merry Christmas" is a vintage Little Golden children's Book from 1959 written by  David Corwin and illustrated by Richard Scarry. Alvin and the Chipmunks was a music group created by Ross Bagdasarian, Sr. in 1958 and one of earliest of the Alvin and the Chipmunks memorabilias.

The book features wonderful illustrations and anthropomorphic characters of Alvin, Simon and Theodore, and the tiny owl, the music teacher.

The entire book looks great, but I especially like the part where the chipmunks sing their famous song:

Christmas, Christmas time is near,
Time for toys and time for cheer.
We've been good, but we can't last,
Hurry Christmas, Hurry fast.
(the song continues...)

Wow. Such a fun song that you'll enjoy singing all day long!

The book is a masterpiece filled with breathtaking pictures. And, If you are looking for a Christmas title as a gift for the special someone in your life, this will be perfect! Don't be late, order now!
