Catherine Frère-Smith is a Kent based textile print designer who graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design in Textiles Design. Catherine with "keen interest in craft and recycle" created "Make a Bird" collection of fabrics that can be used to make garments, and can also be cut up, sewn together and embroidered to create 4 different types of birds. The muted color palette and designs are inspired by her childhood memories, country gardens and nature. She recently opened her store on etsy where she is selling her limited edition hand-embroidered birds and owl.

Just love the material, with all the owls and the other birds on it
