Susan Yuen worked as sous chef for Palomino Euro Bistro and later Kincaid’s and with the birth of her first child she started making fun bentos for her home lunches which provided a great creative outlet for her. She has written cookbooks including Hawaii's Bento Box Cookbook: Fun Lunches for Kids and Hawaii's Bento Box Cookbook: 2nd Course.
