Pipodoll

Samantha Vanderwyst of Pipodoll is an artist, a wife and a mother who intensely loves to create handmade things. She says: "If I do not make things with my hands ~ Even if it is a tiny thing and only for a half an hour, I feel miserable." The initial thing I noticed about Samantha's illustrations are the bold and vibrant colors she uses in her art work. Each of her owl art work is signed and a print of her original illustration.

Retro Art Glass

Have you heard of Retro Art Glass? It's a website which offers vintage and retro glass products produced between 50s-70s. When I started to browse their website, I came across so many gorgeous owl items and couldn't resist sharing with you. These candlelight holder are from the late 70s and each is sold at $50. I think it's priced right for a vintage. What do you think?

B.Sirius: Vinyl Case

B.Sirius is a Melbourne based design company specializing in unique fabric and vinyl bags. Their products are made out of vegetarian material and have been featured in magazines like Real Simple. This make-up case featuring stitch on owls is such a cutie and functional!

Jane Foster

I love Jane's colorful and vibrant work inspired by 50’s and 60’s Scandinavian designs. Her blog, where she collects retro posters, stamps, magazines and more, is such a treat to visit. These cushions were crafted by Jane using vintage fabric and can be found in her store.

Caravan

Emily Chalmers is a UK stylist who recently finished a book on interior design - Flea Market Style. I haven't gotten a chance to read it yet, but now I have to as the reviews are raving. Emily is also the owner of Caravan, a shop which features delightful merchandise with a vintage feel like the above shown "hoots" owl ceramic money box which is fun and quirky.

The Utilitarian Franchise

Today, I'm admiring this throw pillow by The Utilitarian Franchise. It's an awesome way to add a subtle touch of humor in any room. Who knew the wise owl could look so classy and royal in the suit?
