Friday Freebie!

Hi everyone, are you relieved that the week is ending? Was it a busy week for you? If it was, then make sure you relax and spend some time with people you love - with your spouse, mother, sister, daughter or anybody whom you feel close to. Tell them how special they are for you. Not only on Valentine's day, but when ever we get a chance, we should pull breaks on our busy lives and thank people around us for being there in our lives. Talking about thanking, I thank you for being a part of my life everyday. Thank you! I wish I were an artist to offer you something of my own, but for now please enjoy this lovely freebie by Ollibird.

It Grows!

Shannon of Round Robin not only designs cute cards, but they also are plant-able. Yes. You read it right. Each of her card has embedded seeds in the paper that grow into chives, basil or wildflower. I love this idea!

~Nanbu Tekki~

These owl figurines are called Nanbu Tekki in Japanese, which means the best brand of ironware in Japan. This material is still popular and is exemplary of Japanese traditional craft. The black color is the result of a Japanese lacquer glaze called urushi which prevents rust.

Emma Hack: Body Illustrator

Emma Hack is an Australian body artist and skin illustrator. She creates life like designs on female models that blend perfectly in the wallpaper art. Her work is a genius and her patience is limitless!

The video below will give you a glimpse of her brilliant work. I was in awe and speechless watching her work so effortlessly. My favorite part is where she is photographing the models with baby animals. There is a surprise at the end (hint: hilarious!, I feel sorry for the model).

A Fanciful Twist

Vanessa Valencia of A Fanciful Twist is a woman of many talents. She is a sculptor, potter, illustrator, doll maker and jewelry maker. It's raining!

It was starting to get warm here, but now I am so glad that it rained and everything is back to pleasant! I would love to get my feet in these boots and go out for a walk.
