Curious Owl

How sweet is this journal? This Curious Owl Journal is from Girl Of All Work's Desert collection. Don't worry, the mouse is safe. This owl is only trying to make friends(not dinner) with this little mouse it encountered!

Kelly Hyatt's Design

I'm loving this colorful gift wrap designed by Kelly Hyatt. It's available here for purchase.

On a different note: I had a great time yesterday with my niece. She seemed happy to see all her presents and sure did make friends with the duck which could sing for her. I guess a good nap did the trick!

Give A Hoot Rug

This bright, funky and fun rug by Company C is perfect to add a little warmth and personality to your place. This is 100% wool and hooked by several different kinds of yarn: soft shag, high twist curlicues, mottled two-tone sprigs and super chunky loops. There is pole pocket sewn in the back for wall hanging. I can't get over the vibrant colors of the rug, so what if the owl has a beard.

Friday Freebie!

Happy Friday! I am thrilled to have found this freebie by Alisa Haggard. My niece got her first tooth and we have planned a small family ceremony. I am certainly going to use this darling set to make a tag for her present. Yay! Thanks Alisa. Do you have something in mind that you could create with this freebie?

Anne Wendlandt's Enna

Anne Wendlandt of Enna is an illustrator based in Germany. She designs pillows, pouches, journals, jewelry, gift wraps and more. My instant favorites are the cross-stitch pattern journal and the chocolate brown and blue gift wrap. What's your favorite? All the shown products are available in her shop. To read the products' description in English you can open the page in Google translate.

Anthropololgie: Avian Legend Hoodie

Like the most of you I love Anthropologie too- for their exclusive homeware, their ever changing beautiful decorations in the stores and especially for their clothes. For that same reasons, I ping their website several times a month to find something owl related (and more). Yesterday, while browsing their website I saw this hoodie and instantly felt the desire to own it. This is totally my style, it's black (yay!), it has a hood (which makes it a perfect winter wear), and of course, it has a beautiful owl embroidered shoulder to shoulder. If I had some extra change to splurge, it would have been mine and I'd have worn it with leggings. You?

Nathan Jurevicius' Wind Up Toys

These super duper cute wind up owls are from Pelėda series by Nathan Jurevicius. Pelėda is Lithuanian for owl.

The Pelėda Series is a blind boxed series of old school wind ups, incorporating Nathan's Lithuanian folk heritage in a distinct 50's/60's product aesthetic.

These are available in 7 different styles and each is limited to 500 pieces. If you are thinking of collecting these, get them here. Remember, these are "blind box" toys, so, you wouldn't know what's in it until the box is opened. Good Luck!!

Sarah Ackerly: Illustrations

These darling illustrations are by Sarah Ackerly. She was fascinated in her childhood by picture books received as presents on several occasions, which later led her to do Bachelor in Fine Arts from University of Texas. Her dream to be an illustrator and author of children's book came true with her first published book Patrick the Somnambulist. These shown illustrations are from her portfolio which you must visit right now for a treasure chest full of inspiration.

Wedding Guest Book Box

How cute is this wedding guest book box by Cut The Cake Designs! I have a confession to make. Until I found this box, I had no idea that there is any thing called wedding guest book existed. From where I come, we have no such tradition. Yes, I have attended a few weddings of close friends in the US, but I don't remember filling out any book. So, I ask you, what is this book and did you have any on your wedding?

Wee Gallery: Art Cards

I love these art cards by Wee Gallery which are meant for babies, but these black and white illustrations are so adorable that I want to frame them and hang them on my walls!

What Wee gallery art cards actually are?
Wee Gallery art cards are created from bold, whimsical, hand-painted originals that cater to a baby's visual strengths. The black and white images and their repeating patterns captivate little ones. Place them in the crib to transform it into a wee gallery or use them as flash cards for older children.

Mother & Baby Owl

How sweet is this pointy eared duo? The mother and baby owl are made out of hammered metal. These are suitable for outdoor use or mantel, your choice. Available at Jackson & Perkins on 50% discount.

Owl Fairy Lights+Pancakes

Happy Tuesday! For last few days I have been craving pancakes, which is no biggy, but it becomes a novelty if you are in India. I usually don't miss things which I eat everyday (almost) when I am in the U.S., but when I started seeing pancakes in my dreams, I knew I had to do something about it. Pancake mix and the waffle maker are not readily available in the stores here. You have to look real hard to find one. After asking a friend of a friend of a friend and hopping from one shop to another, I found this Betty Crocker's pancake mix. This morning, I popped open the box and made a few pancakes with some walnuts and almonds and enjoyed them with honey. I used tava to make pancakes and honestly they came out really well. I am so happy and ready for a hard-working day! Have you craved for something so bad lately?
For now, I leave you with this adorable owl fairy lights string and I'll be back with some more fun posts.
These lights are available here for purchase.

Owl Themed Wedding

I am so excited to share today's next find with you. While reading Little White Book, I came across these gorgeous photographs of Amy and Toby's owl themed wedding. The owl ceramic figurine, signs, tea towel, cake topper and tags tied around handmade lollipops are all so cute. I had to sneak in the fourth picture showing the lovely bride and her drop-dead-beautiful shoes
*sigh*. I love each and everything in these photos. I find the mix of bright yellow and calming blue, with a punch of orange, just perfect. Don't you?

GAMA-GO: Wallets

Adorable wallets in fun colors by Gama-Go. Seriously, you don't have be an owl lover to enjoy these wallets.
